Who is mad by his move?? I am soo disappointed in him. I love the Pistons and due to his move, i don't think they even have a chance next year..........He was the one who brought energy into the team and the crowd to its feet.

at the end of the day.. this game is a business.. chicago offered him more paper so he had to do what he had to do.. simple as that

disappointed he left detroit because the pistons were one of the few "teams" i liked.. 5 players doin' their thing cohesively.. not just 1 or 2 superstars

i'm also excited to see what chicago will do next year though.. that will be somethin' to look out for

That's kind of a personal decision for Ben. I'm sure there were many factors that played into it that we couldn't have known about.

However, if it were me, I'd take the money and run. This is his last chance to get a major deal out of anybody, seeing as how he's 32 years old. Why not take it? He's already won a championship.

Also, I heard a rumor that his brother was involved in the Ron Artest brawl and that though his court case was thrown out, he was banned from the Palace. When Ben Wallace asked them to let him back in, they refused.

I don't know how true that is, but that's the rumor I heard.

Either way, I think at this point in his career, if he gets offered a 15 million dollar deal where he'll get paid 18 million a year by the end of the deal, he should go for it.

It was a bad move on his part, the Pistons are a much better team. I mean Hinrich, Deng, Gordon vs. Billups, Hamilton, Prince....who do you think is going to win? The Pistons picked up Nazr Mohammed to replace Wallace so they have a solid defender that CAN hit a couple free throws once in a while. Wallace messed up and he's gonna pay for it when he's watching the Pistons in the Finals from his couch this year.

Yes I think the bulls are up and coming and the pistons are going
down. Ben is thinking their is a better chance for championship
with a young talented team.

He felt that the Pistons did not offer him enough. The Pistons felt that their offer was good enough considering that he "has no offense."

He already has a ring so he probably felt that he had to take care of himself too. The offer was too good to refuse. Fisher did it, you probably would do it too if you were in that situation.

Though he screwed the Detroit fans, the reality is that the Bulls are rising fast, while Detroit is starting to slump. No point on staying on a sinking boat now is there?

I think so, he is in a place where he can be considered the leader of a young team that needs direction, with a coach who is a driven to win as he is.
