they are not relaxed in California, dont pay , they attach your wages, take your license, your state returns , income tax, passport

Actually the laws and the way divorced men and women are treated differs from county to county. You basicly just need to be lucky enough to have a mind set in your county that is Pro- what ever gender you are.
It really is a shame that to get anything substantial you must hire the best lawyer money can buy. So much for fairness and un-biased judges.
I was in a county that employed man-hating lesbians that supplied the court with it's information. The guys didn't have a chance.

Because most of the time it's men that have to pay, and a majority of the lawmakers are men. . .
Unless you were complaining that you have to pay too much. Then I say to you that you don't pay enough! Supporting a child is more than just sending a check once a month!

HERE IN NEW JERSEY THE CHILD SUPPORT IS PAID TO THE COUNTY AND THEN FOWARDED TO THE MOTHER AND IF THE COUNTY DON'T RECEIVE THE MONEY THEN THEY PICK YOU UP AND PUT YOU IN JAIL.

NOT UNLESS YOU ARE RICH AND CAN AFFORD AN ATTORNEY TO MAKE THEM DO THEIR JOBS. I FOUGHT FOR 4 MONTHS FOR $600 MY EX HUSBAD OWED ME AND THEY TREATED ME LIKE CRAP!!! WELL FOR A SINGLE MOM $600 IS LIKE WINNING THE LOTTO EVERY PENNY COUNTS. I DONT THINK IT WILL EVER CHANGE.

in wahington state they can put your *** in jail for not paying. as well as take your license. be it a professional license or a drivers.
