I thought Italy were absolutely brilliant and gave an outstanding performance. Dont see how anyone can call them divers particularly when Germany fielded the biggest actor and diver in Ballack.He couldn't take a cream puff to the face without rolling around and screaming in agony. Bet a few Premiership defenders have marked his card for next season. Always sad for the losers but Italy, in my book,are worthy finalists.

I think that Italy has way to much confidence when they win a game its all cheers but if they lose it either the refs fault or the other teams fault but ....i kno that italy won but i would much rather have liked to see Germany win so italy woud be out and they couldnt say anything because the ref was fine an germany played well

Yes I agree. It was a great shame and I'm still in shock!! Though I have to say that Italy played better football than Germany did, for sure. I hope they lose the final though...that will make me feel so much better....

The goals were stunning, but over shadowed by the way Italy conduct themselves on the pitch. CRINGE!!!!!!!! If I was Italian, i'd be embarrassed about the cheating that goes on in front of millions of viewers. Its like a big dirty cloud over the occasional flowers of brilliance. They play Scotland next year in the Euro qualifiers, I can see them rolling around theatrically already. Cheats!!!!!!!!!

I'm not crazy about Italian soccer either, they do dive alot which the ref of that game controlled very well, Italy played very well and deserved the win over Germany, congrats Italy

I'm German and a big fan of Germany, but: Congratulations to Italy. You won fair and throughtout the first half and overtime were the better team.

Italy can only beat the teams put in front of them, ie Australia, Ghana and Germany. They know how to defend and with Lippi they have one of the best managers in the world.

Entertaining certainly,pity the Germs didn't go out on pens. I'm no Italy fan but they get my vote over the spawny french(sic) in the final.
