I have tried every cleaning product out there, and a couple of home made cleaners. I've even tried using steel wool, but it is not coming off... any suggestions?

you can use any brand oven cleaner, even the $1.00 kind...spay it on the doors only...dont get it on the handles or any crome etc...leave it for about 30 min...and wipe right off. Is is really amazing how clean and scum free they will be.
if you do get it on the handles etc....wipe it off fast cause it will eat it up, tarnish's it.

For soap scum, Kaboom is the answer!!! All you do it wet the doors, spray thoroughly, let drip for only a few minutes, and wipe with a light duty scrubber. Rinse with the hottest water possible, and dry. You can follow up with glass cleaner if you like. I did not believe it myself as Kaboom is an...as seen on TV product, right? But it is fabulous! **If your problem will not come off with steel wool, my guess is that it is not soap, but hard water buildup. It is too white, but extremely difficult to get off. If that is the case, I have a hard time myself. I would say try CLR and alot of elbow grease. Good Luck!

you can use any citrus fruit as long as it isnt an orange or tangerine. Then cut in half and take out the flesh. Keep the skin and squeeze out the oil from the pours rub it onto the soap scum or affected area of the door and then squeeze the juice and rinse thoroughly with hot water. Next taking either White vinegar or alchohol then wipe it clean.

Kaboom works for soap scum and hard water residue as well. Get it at Bed, Bath & Beyond......it really works! I use about onced a month and also workd well on ceramic tile shower surrounds/tub alcoves. It is a little messier as it removes a lot of scum, but gets the job done!

You can use Tilex Soap Scum Remover. Spray it on and rub in clean with a wet sponge. Next, dry with a clean cloth. Or, you can try Mr Clean's Magic Eraser.

it has to be acidic stuff and soapy at the same time. i got a favourable brand here. it is called Frosch, (like a frog in german), it smells sour. or often i would use the toilet cleaner - watch for fhat is said on the bottle, not chlorine, not just detergents, but some acid, preferably citric acid then the phosphoric acid. yeah, any cleaner with citric acid content will help you - if not, use it right from the bottle, concentrated

Mix 2 parts water with 1 part white vinegar. I put it on with a wash cloth and then use a scrubber if it's really filthy. Then rinse clean. It cleans all the crap off and leaves a streak-free shine.

I have used a product called Kaboom. I don't know who makes it but I spray it on let it sit for a good while and wipe down, then I do the normal windex glass clearer after just in case of streaks.

Easy Off BAM (at any US Grocer) and Mr. Clean Magic Eraser works very well with a minimum of 'elbow grease' required.
