Are blondes born dumb and why do some act dumb when are are not?

I am blonde and far from dumb. However, I will admit that other "Blonde" girls (and guys) have given us a bad rap. Paris Hilton is a fine example. Also Jessica Simpson and Brittney Spears. But many Blondes in history and currently are very smart and have great business sense. Many people with darker hair have "Blonde" moments too, don't forget that. I agree that many "blonde" s put on an act of stupidity to get attention or to be "Cute" but really it's just annoying. I'd rather be known for my intelligence and good looks then for others to say "She's pretty but dumber then a box of rocks" I think the Media plays up the dumb blonde thing too. It's a shame that Paris Hilton, et all, have to play dumb, take off their clothes to be "famous". What a sad thing to be...blame it on the Media and girls who want the wrong kind of attention.

My son has a girlfriend who is blonde. She is something else. She is always bouncing around like Tigger from Winnie the Pooh. She didn't even know what a limousine was until a couple weeks ago. And she certainly didn't know that it was a car AND a cow. She is almost 18 so she should know those things. Yeah, blondes are dumb, lol.

NO they're not all dumb. I am a nautral blonde and graduated top of my high school class at 13. Some act dumb when they're not because they think thats what they need to do to fit in or to be the "norm"

Natural blondes are just as intelligent or more than anyone else.
If a girl is not smart enough to know how to get enough attention to satisfy herself with her natural hair, then she might become blonde.
It goes back to ancient Roman times. Roman prostitutes bleached their hair. If you were a prostitute, the assumption was that you were too stupid to do anything else to make a living.
Early blonde hair coloring contained lots of lead. In Victorian times a vinegar soaked lead comb was used. Romans used lead salts. When you soak your head in lead, you get real stupid. Women who used these products would look pretty but stand around say "uh huh" to any question they were asked.
Ironic that natural blondes are now teased about being dumb when it was fake blondes that gave them a bad name.

I am a blonde, and I have the highest literature, english, and natural sciences in my class. Although you may see dumb blondes, they are fake, and act dumb only to attract attention. My greatest example: Jessica Simpson. I may have dumb moments, but don't we all?

Dumb is relative! Depending upon the point of view a person takes we are all dumb sometimes. I will admit to blaming my own hair color (which is blond) when I have a particularly large "brain fart."

Blondes are some of the smartest people around. Look at any blond in history. She has fame, fortune, men chasing after her and she doesn't have to do much because people already think that she's dumb so when she does something ordinary they think she's one of a genius.

Now if you want to look at dumb people, think about people who rape women. They're dumb. Because as soon as they get caught and put in jail, they become the women that they raped!!!!

Blondes aren't born dumb but they act that way because they think they need attention all the time. so acting dumb gives them that attention. even if they do sound stupid

Blondes being dumb is stereotyping. That is the same as saying all retired people are rich. It is just not the case. My wife is blonde and so is her sister and they are like walking encyclopedias.
