I have just set up my new small office and soon enough there will be another person in here. We have two computers and are using the same internet connection but we do not yet have a network set up to where we can access each other's files (my documents). I also need to be able to access the printer that is hooked up to the computer that the new employee will be using wirelessly. How do I go about doing that?

You need two LAN (ethernet) cards and couple yards of twisted networking cable. First insert the two LAN and network them. Now connect the printer normally to any computer and install it. Go to COntrol Panel> network connections> Right Click the new "Local Area Connection">Propertise>Select File and Printer Sharing , if its not selected. Now to other caomputer, go to Control Palnel>Printer and FAXes> Add a Printer> Select "A network printer or a printer atached to another computer"> Browse Printer>Now configure the other options and ur DONE.

Get a router, and a USB adapter so that the other person can use the Internet connection. You have to put the printer in a shared setting on the network so that the other person can use it.

you said the other PC is connected wirelessly, and you are sharing internet connection so i assume you have a wireless router. SO set up the printer to the main PC and then share the printer from there. Mosst windows OS's make it very easy to fo that. if you're still having problems then email me with some more info.

If both of both pcs has Gigabit ethernet you could connect them right away with a familiar ethernet cable OR a bypass-over cable. in the adventure that they both have the extra complication-free 10/100 type ethernet you could might want to apply a bypass-over cable to right away connect them. you could also use an ethernet change between both pcs. i'd propose getting a change. they're affordable and they enable you amplify to larger than 2 pcs interior the destiny.
