Yes, your baby is getting bigger and she has much less room to move. You will feel more wave motions such as that and stretching. You may even see a hand or foot pushing out. Don't be alarmed, she can't punch through but You want to have a camera ready in case that happens.

If you are worried you need to call your doctor and ask questions. Never, ever be afraid to call them. That is what they are there for! Do not let days go by if you have a worry. Call that day.
Most of the time it is normal to not actually feel kicks anymore because the baby is gettting bigger and there is less room for them to move around.
On the other side of this, you're mentioning that the movement has slowed down. This you need to watch. Call your doctor or the nurse and ask them how many times a day you should be feeling the movement. Each doctor has their own set of rules they follow.
More than likely what you are now feeling is the baby getting in position, or trying to get into position, for birth. Sometimes you can feel hiccups too (that's an experience!)LOL
There are tests they can do to see how your baby is doing that doesn't involve much on your part (you just go into the office or sometimes the hospital and they will put a couple of elastic belts around your stomach with these round disks attached to them. Then all you do is lay there and these disks will pick up the baby's heart rate and tell if you are having any contractions). This kind of test lets the doctor know how things are going with the baby. Even ultrasounds can tell some things too.
Much better to be careful and call if you have any kind of worry. Believe me, they are used to it and no question is dumb or stupid. If you have a worry, it needs to be answered!

As the baby grows larger, there is less room in the uterus for big leg stretches and really hard kicks. The waves you are seeing is when the baby moves from one side to the other or tries to stretch her limbs. Be watchful though to make sure that you do feel movements throughout the day. If you want to do a check, drink some orange juice and lie down on your side for a little while. The sugar in the juice pumps the baby up a little and you should feel some movements that are good and healthy. Don't be afraid to call your dr. if at all worried. Most doctors would be glad to check the heartbeat for their patients.

Try to see if you can get your baby to move by eating something high in sugar and then lying down. I know that after about 28 weeks, the pregancy books say that you should feel a certain number of movements in a certain period of time (10 movements of some type within an hour), and that if you don't you need to call your doctor to make sure that nothing is wrong. I think it's better to be safe than sorry. They can do a non-stress test or ultrasound to make sure everything is OK.

I went through the same thing but at about 32 weeks. As the baby gets larger, they don't have the room to move about as they use to so some of the more hard movements will slow or even stop but you should still feel some type of motion. If you're really concerned, talk with your OB/GYN or midwife. My baby is now 2 weeks old, happy and healthy so hang in there! Good luck and congratulations!

It is very normal for movements to slow down or change at the end of pregnancy. There is not so much room now for baby to do all those big kicks and rolls anymore.

I am 30 weeks pregnant and my baby is more active now than ever! I see the waves too, but HE is going to be a football player I think. It just also depends on how much space that baby has in there. I am a size 16 (before pregnancy) so I natually come with a playground! lol......... I would tell my dr. though and see what he's got to say. I am sure that everything is ok though. Good luck.

It is normal for the baby's movements to slow down, the further along you are the less room there is for baby. But you still need to talk to your doctor. He or she can give you a chart to mark down the movements, how often she kicks, if it was after you ate or drank. But you need to see your doctor he knows best.

I don't think the movement slows down- maybe it just doesn't feel like a bunch of little jabs anymore. And the baby is running out of room in there!

This is very normal and the baby has a lot less room to grow. As long as you feel some movement daily, then its a good sign that your baby is growing as it should. Im 30 weeks today and my baby is being lazy. (and as soon as I type it he moves LOL) Congrats on your pregnancy and rest up, 10 weeks will pass quickly.
