I just don't understand. I know that he does but he will only tell me when he is getting off the phone with me and it sounds so rehearsed. I have even asked him why it was so hard for him but he just starts to blush, smile and stutter. I know he loves me because of the way he treats me, the way he looks into my eyes and the things he does for me but I just need to hear it every now and then. My question is.....should I just accept that he is uncomfortable with tell me that he loves me or should this be a big deal? I tell him all of the time....I am comfortable with our relationship and my feelings for him. Shouldn't it be mutual? HELP!!!

Love is shown by actions and not by words of mouth. He can say I love you a thousand times but do not mean it. I would rather that my girl shows me love and care than she said "I love you"

The love in your relationship should be mutual, but the confidence in "expressing" those feelings can't always be the same. If he blushes and stutters, then he is a little shy about saying it. He does love you if he says it ever and stays close to you. If you really love him, then stay with him and keep telling him so. Don't push him into a way to feel or how to talk. That can turn him away. Men and women are different. Be patient, his fire is burning for you...but the crackling sound of the flames is just softer.

I had the same problem at first and i use 2 tell my boyfriend all the time but he really didn't tell me as much because he wasn't comfortable, but i knew he always did by his actions and he told me he was glad that i did know he loved me without him having to say it. Know we have been together for 3yrs+ and he tells more know just be patient and wait until he's ready that is when u will know he sincerely means it

You should be careful about what You say to people.Instead of acting sarcastic towards the question, just help them out with an opinion { that was the initial question anyway}You should just except that he won't tell you that he loves you. It sounds to me that He don't anyway. Thanks for the 2 points and Good Luck.
