Every place in India has changed in the past 6 years so get ready for the shock. Prices have risen so be ready for that. Make sure you carry sunblock, cotton clothing and medicines for an upset tummy. bug repellent would be a good idea too. drink only bottled or boiled and filtered water. Its not so much that India has changed but that your body system has changed in the 6 years that you have been here. And if you live in the
suburbs of America get ready to hear all the noise. But above everything go and revisit your roots, enjoy and remember that everything in India is spicier than you remember.

India is as attractive and charming as ever for those who love India. For others it is still a mystery as ever beyond their understanding and reach.

In six years, almost all its major cities and towns have undergone significant changes. You need to less prepare yourself for anything comparing what you did 6 years ago. Even if you find anything missing in your place there, seek it in India it will be available with warmth.

What else?

relax. hasn't changed much over 6 years. if changed - I believe, to the best, coz everything is developing, everything is improving.
but if by India u meant Goa as many tourists do - it has become worse I'd say. Quite a mess. And there have been religious conflicts recently.
