they're so ugly!! they're permanent!! ugh!! people who wear tattoos are crazy!!

I don't think that tatoos are bad, just many peoples say that because the tatoo can make your skin ugly, i want a tatoo and i have that after 2 weeks.

I think that generally people say they are bad because it used to be that once you had one it was forever. Also maybe because when you are young you get tattoos that probably wouldn't look good or be sensible 20 years later. But in reality tattoos fade and become very faint looking and now they have a laser removal procedure. But I heard that this procedure is very, very painful.

First of all, tattoos are cool. They don't cause cancer or anything. It bad for you in the same or in a similar way as writing with a pen on your arm. It's bad because ink gets into your bloodstream. But your body does have a natural defense system to remove toxins.

Because some of them are done in poor taste. Especially the "tramp stamps" (across the lower back in females) They can cause Hepatitis C if you goto a place that isn't clean. They fade over time, They will be with you forever, unless you have them sand blasted off. Any number of things. I have one, on my ankle, the word love. It's the only one I ever will have, and I think it's ok...even when I'm 80, it will be ok. lol

I think people say they are bad because they are permenant, a few people, like with conditions such as diabetes shouldn't have tattoos.
Personally i like tattoos and as soon as i turn 18 i am getting one.
There is also a certain amount of stigma asociated with tattoos that you should be aware og before you get one.

There are alot of reasons why people think that tattoos are bad. One of them is your culture where they don't allow to have one. Another one is associate with gangs. These are some of the reasons.
I have four tattoos. I like them very much and want to get more.

May be because they are drawn on parts of body in order to get people staring at these part which is considered to be impolite.
Or may be because of the media which link tattoo to drugs and delinquency.

I think people say tattoos are bad because they are permanent and when you get old your tattoo sags with your skin. Also you can get AIDS or other diseases if the needle is not new.

For 1 they are ugly especially big ones and 2 they are permenatly in ur skin and it is really painful and expensive to get them off!!!!

Just like my mum,, still not letting me doing one...!
