labor is different for every woman. hard to believe but some women dont have any pain at all!

I've been through both and I can honestly say that kidney stones are WORSE! I was throwing up - in more pain than I could ever imagine - I thought I was dying! The birth of my daughter was completely beautiful - and painless! I had absolutely no drugs at all - no epidural - nothing! I never want kidney stones again - I insisted on drinking water even while I was in labor...

I had a baby and my husband had kidney stones. Unfortuantely, we cannot compare the two to determine which hurts worse. I can tell you that what you get as a result of the labor pain is a so much more worth the pain than the stones!

Before labor was over, I would have rather had a kidney stone!!

I had a kidney stone when I was 5 months pregnant..and it was awful,,but I think Labor is worse..before the epidural of course !!!

.iv never went through labor pains as i am still young but i do know someone that has went through kidney stone pains and was in tears but the truth is that i really couldn't tell the honest truth. sorry :(

I had gallstones and kidney stones and I wouldn't compare either one to labor. I would say that labor is like really bad constipation with gas.

My Obstetrician told my husband that passing a kidney stone was the closest thing a man would ever feel to childbirth. Does this help?

no. kidney stone hurts worse! and at least you know what the pain is when you are in labor. kidney stones you dont know what the hell it is until you get tests and before you know it they are cuttin on you!!!

I had gallstones which is far worse than labor pains...labor pains is more like menstrual cramps in a worse fashion and goes away once the baby comes out.
