Sad poems will only make you more sad.You should read something uplifting to help you get out of your sad mood.

I agree with the person that said if you're sad you should write poetry not read it. Writing it will let you express the part of you that is feeling sad and hurt. I was VERY depressed a couple months ago and wrote about 20-30 poems. Pretty decent ones although I can't find them at the moment on this computer. It helped a ton though. Give it a try.

2- Three Feelings:

What's the difference between stress, tension and panic?

What are the roots that clutch, what branches grow
out of this stony rubbish? Son of man,
You cannot say, or guess, for you know only
A heap of broken images, where the sun beats,
And the dead tree gives no shelter, the cricket no relief,
And the dry stone no sound of water. Only
There is shadow under this red rock,
Come in under the shadow of this red rock,
And I will show you something different from either
Your shadow at morning striding behind you
Or your shadow of evening rising to meet you;
I will show you fear in a handful of dust.

The Rose
The treasure at the heart of the rose
Is your hearts own treasure
scatter it as the rose does,
Your pain becomes hers to measure

Scatter it in a song
Or in one great Love's desire
Do not resist the rose,
lest you burn in its fire

It might not be sad but it's good.

I really like W. H. Auden. His "Funeral Blues" poem was used in the Four Weddings and a Funeral movie, and it's certainly a sad elegy poem.

With rue my heart is laden
For golden friends I had,
For many a rose lipped maiden
And many a lightfoot lad.

By streams too broad for leaping
The lightfoot lads are laid,
The rose lipped girls are sleeping
In fields where roses fade.

It seems to me that you'd want happy poems at this moment.

Sorry, I know nothing.
