In a newer relationship, spoiling is common, because you want to get to know each others reactions, likes and dislikes, and show how you care. The longer a relationship lasts, the less spoiling you get, as eventually you settle into your routines, and the simple things can mean more than all the big fancy dinners and such.
If you and your boyfriend have been together a long time and are still spoiling each other, good for you for keeping it all alive, BUT, this could get expensive, and I sure hop you and your boyfriend don';t expect it to last forever: one of you will be disappointed eventually.
Spoiling is great, however, I would always advise you to look for the little things in a relationship to make it special. Expecting great surprises every day can be a big letdown in the long run. With the right person, something as simple as a morning kiss and an "I love you" can mean more than any unexpected gift.

Definitely! thats great and shows lots of love and affection. I wished I was spoiled. I spoil my man big time but never get it in return.

Thats fine as long as you spoil that person who is spoiling you, something little is ok just let them know you can handle this treatment

No, it's better to take advantage and to be abused!!!
Of course it's OK to spoil and to be spoiled - I get sh*t all the time from my husband (and he knows I like shiny things - so leave the cheap crap at the store)
And you have to see all the toys I get him.

Well... I suppose if it goes both ways, it's not too bad, but being spoiled doesn't sound like a good thing in general.
