It is so interesting to see Japanese businesses are goin OK in Taiwan. ( I live in Tawain )
But not in Korea.
I can say there is a good side of Japanese culture or what so ever that I can admire.
BUT still Korean tend not to get along with Japanese or purchase their stuff. literally Korean hates them.

(one of my American friend said to me that it is coming from "jealousy". Give me a break!! jealousy of what from them? being an *** licker nice smiling face with different thought underneath of them? Jealousy of what? being a sexual pervert like a Japanese guys who wants to get teen's panty for keeing it?
I argued with him so much. he doesn't want LISTEN other ppl's at all.
Yeah! Korean hates because they are jealousy of them. lol )

Maybe young generation of Japanese they don't know why Koreans hates them much. cuz they don't get a HISTORICAL FACT education!!

WHAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU?!!?
Why don't you get a life and live it. You are dwelling on B.S.
There are a lot more things in life to focus on, than hatred.
"hate" comes from ignorance, so i guess your the person that we should "hate" because of your ignorance toward these people.

I think I can sense a trace of racism in your tone, but that's besides the point. The point is, is that the past is the past. You can't do anything about it now, but get over it. My best friend is Korean, and I'm Japanese, and we get along just fine.

By the way, I'm part of the young generation of Japanese, and I know that the Japanese invaded and ruled over Korea. The reason why I know this is because I get an education and I understand that people do what they think is in the best interest of the people. It is not something that all of the Japanese population voted on and all agreed to.

My Korean friends in school don't like the Japanese because of what the Japanese did to the Koreans way back before (I forgot when. >_<;) . The cruelty that the Japanese did when they invaded Korea pro'lly made the Koreans hate the Japanese so much. That's why when Korea got their freedom back, they were so proud of themselves. And Until now they are still proud. They're not jealous of Japan. And they won't be. Like what you said, why WOULD they be jealous?

Some Korean artists (BoA, TVfXQ , Se7en etc...) are gaining popularity in Japan these days, they're trying to promote the Korean culture in Japan but some Koreans get mad at the artists because they don't like the idea of them socializing with the Japanese.

I think I didn't made any sense. Sorry. >_< But I do hope I helped. (:

Around 1900, both nation were similar situation.
In Taiwan, there were many mountain side minorities and many Chinese whose ancester came from many part of China.
There was no mutual langage, and no big cities.
In Korea, after thousand China's reign, Korea had been battered land.
Japan entered around this period and and started to gover these countries. Japan also aimed to build advanced nation in these land.

After WW2, Taiwanese people found what Japan left in their land was very advanced and great. Language, infrastructure, clean food and safe, etc.
The people never forget the Japanese sprits as well, such as, probity, honest, hard working, setting rules in society, be fairness, and manner.etc.
Those generation, grandpa and granma, have passed the old good Japan era story down from generation to generation, even though Taiwan govenment prohibited to talk about Japan in public.

On the other hand, Korea govenment also prohibited citizens to talk about Japan. They started to teach how Korean ppl is great in the world and what Japan did in the past was all bad. They only see and concentrate in the bad side of Japan. and they passed that story to their childeren.
The elder ppl ,who educated in Japan system and speak Japanese, hided the fact they could speak Japanese and never told about the Japan epoch.

Today young Korean never know how was the age Japan reigned. They only can see bad and dirty side of Japan today.
If someone wrote a book with correct data what Japan did in the past, the book will be banned soon. even now...

Only Gim Wanseop 김완섭, write TRUE HISTORY in Korea today.
The education in Korea today is so one-sided. History has 2 side of the coin. You have to know as well.

There are historical reasons Koreans don't like Japanese.
We all have our past. We need to learn to move on.
You ought to be worried about that crazy person running the show in North Korea & his repressive regime!
Now there's something to hate!

darling, this are the least of your worries!!!!
historical facts missing you say?!?! here in my country, even Alexander the great is a Muslim! (apparently according to the Quran)

i sincerely think, the younger generations should really just let go of all these hatred and animosity towards the younger generation Japanese, its their fore-fathers that committed the acts of cruelty, not them.

let learn how to assign individual guilt(people who committed the heinous crimes) instead of collective guilt(the race that they are attributed to) so that we can all get on with our lives and learn from WW2.

regards.....
