As a 16-year-old your options are a little limited. But you might look at the best (and most pricey) restaurants in town. You will probably have to start out by bussing tables, but if you prove yourself, you might get to wait tables before too long. That's where the "pricey" part comes in - at top restaurants the tips can be significant.

Proving yourself means being available to come in to work at almost any time, showing up consistently 5-10 minutes early, dressing neatly, spending your time working and not goofing around, keeping yourself busy (if you have nothing to do at work, ask the manager what else you can do), being honest and forthright in all things, and maintaining good relationships with your boss and fellow workers.

It's a lot but if you really want to earn some money you can do it. Best of success.
