I suggest a blonde Bosch. She's silent......you can hardly tell when she is turned on. (This may be a good thing or not *shrugs*)

We have a Kitchen Aid and I love it. We looked at Fischer and Paykel drawers, but they were too small for larger items and we often have a full load, so the drawer function was not a plus for us. Bosch was nice, but the selling point the salesman made, was that it heated the water to over 160 degrees to liquify the food, rather than needing a grinder. Since I do not leave food on my dishes, I did not need this option either. We ended up with Kitchen Aid. If I remember correctly the salesman said that Kitchen Aid was owned by Whirlpool now. We purchased the middle of the line dishwasher, as we did not need all the functions on the top of the line. Seemed kind of overkill for us. The important feature for us was the saniclean, which does heat the water to I believe over 160, but not for food sake, but to sanitize our dishes/baby bottles, etc. We also liked the look of the Kitchen Aid. We got stainless, and the buttons are on the top, so it looks clean! Hope this helps.
