Alright, so I'm playing The Sims Deluxe Edition, just the first one, no expansion pack or anything. Once I get my people enough money, how can I move them into one of the bigger mansions?

You have to bulldoze the house that there living in and then pick the house that you want to move in, click them and then move them in.

You can do a cheat code, or save the money up the hard way. I have the deluxes, plus making magic, hot date, and vacation. The cheat code applies to all of them.
When the game loads, and you click on your sim house. Once you are there, click on the house mode button. Then press shift, alt, and c button together. A box will appear, and you type inside. Rosebud.
After that do shift, alt, and c button again. Then type inside. !;!;!;!;!;!;!; Over and over again, till you get how much money you want. Or you can go to search and type sims hack objects. some site got a tree call the money tree. You can put the tree around the grounds and it give you money. But you have to put it on pause to put the tree down.
Sometimes when you hit live, the trees will disappear. If you get tired of them, you now you can get rid of them.
Also if you want to delete something, that the regular verison won't like you. Do shift, alt, and c button again. Type inside, (Move_objects on)but with out theses () on the sides. Then hit enter. You can delete your sims from the house, kids, furniture, trash, mailbox, and etc.
Once you delete your sims, their face is still shown on the taskbar. They will have like a red traget at the bottom of their picture. When you want them back into the game. Click on the red target and they be back, where they was last at.

when they have enough money go to neighborhood mode and move them out. Then select the family from one of the boxes with the families who don't have houses, and click on the mansion and if they have enough money they should move in

Good question i just ordered that game off of bestbuy.com and im probably gonna need some help on it once it comes in the mail.

You take the bulldozer and when it asks to evict them say yes and then when it says do you want to bulldoze the house say no.

you evict them, on the main screen, there's a pic of a bulldozer, use it and then click on the house.
