NetFlix is far and away the better one, especially if you want movies that are more than 6 months old. the only hting I did like about BlockBuster (we used to have both), is that you got one free rental at the local store per month, so you could go get a movie RIGHT NOW instead of waiting a day or two.
Also, I guess it depends where you live. We live near a distribution center so we send moves back, and it takes like 2 days to get the new ones in the mail.
We stagger our three slections so we always have 1-2 movies to watch and 1 on the way.

I've used both.
I prefer Netflix. First, Netflix seems to have the widest selection of anyone. They CLAIM that if it's on DVD, they've got at least one copy. They also have multiple distribution centers around the US so that typically you get a DVD within 1-2 days of its ship date.
Plus, Blockbuster Online was Blockbuster's knee-jerk reaction to the competition that Netflix was giving them. I'm rewarding Netflix's innovation in delivering this service. I think Blockbuster needs to figure out it's "End of Late Fees" before it does anything else. My Blockbuster DOES indeed charge late fees, and the lack of late fees with Netflix is it's most appealing aspect to me...that, and the fact that I don't have to go anywhere...the DVDs come in the mail.

I like Netflix personally coz they have faster shipping and a very good selection.
Blockbuster is ok but since I like foreign movies, Netflix does better with that. You do get free movie coupons from Blockbuster to actually go to the store though.
Your choice.

I have Netflix and I really like it because they ship extremely fast and they have so many more titles to choose from than Blockbuster. I have the three at a time deal and get around 25 a month so I believe its a great deal and never run out of movies to watch.

I love Blockbuster. I used to use netflix, but no more. blockbuster has 2 day turnaround and I have not looked for a movie (available on DVD) that I have not been able to find there.

I use Blockbuster. They generally have a two day turnaround, the only things I can't find are really obscure foriegn films. They are really good about sending replacement when discs are scratched w/o getting the 1st one and replacing discs that never came (it's only happened once). And the coupons, sometimes you get a movie from a short list of things that were big about a year ago, you always get free rentals.

I prefer Blockbuster because we also get to rent one movie a week (for no extra cost) in the store so if we need a movie, we go get one. So instead of getting what works out to about 3 a week, we get 4 for the price of 3.

I have Blockbuster and it does take them a long time to get some titles that are already out elsewhere. Plus I seem to get quite a bit of damaged/unplayable DVDs where I have request that they be sent to me again.
And to make matters worse, they don't have porn.
