I respect iran, because if u compare them between them and between USA and ISRAEL , IRAN= GOOD TEAM vs. USA&ISRAEL=THE DEVILS. just watch the news , not the fox or cnn, see what is really israel and usa is doing in palestine and iraq, how they r killing childrens and women. while iran never attacked another country, maybe their interior politics is not fair enough but this is their own country let them do whatever they want, it is no one business. no one in the world have the right to interfere with other countries.
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHY IT IS OK FOR INDIA AND PAKISTAN AND ISRAEL TO HAVE THE NUCLEAR WEAPON, AND IT IS OBLIGED FOR IRAN?WHYYYYY?
WHY ISRAEL CAN KILL CHILDRENS AND RAPE WOMEN AND DESTROY HOUSES?
WHY ISRAEL DONT RESPECT ANY OF THE UN DECISION? WHILE LEBANON AND SYRIA AND IRAN ARE OBLIGED TO DO SO?

Actually, I think the whole business of relations bet. Iran and the US is a great tragedy.
Granted, Iran is currently ruled by mullahs who are not known for open-mindedness. However, the population of Iran is very politically savvy, and rather well educated. If only the US hadn't helped the Shah attain power, only to see him turn into an evil tyrant, perhaps things would be better between the 2 countries.
Iran/Persia is an important nation with an ancient civilization which has contributed greatly to world culture. What's more, the citizens have a great work ethic and value education.
Perhaps at some point, the student/younger population will rise against the mullahs and demand a government more in line with getting along with other nations instead of antagonizing them.
In any event, I wish the US and Iran were on good terms.

Iran is a country with more money than sense. I don't hate Iran. If they want to play with the "big boys" then they'll have to learn to play nice and be responsible with their toys. It's like giving a 4 year old firecrackers. Somebody is going to get hurt eventually.

Anyone who hates another country is blind to the fact that countries mirror each other in unfamiliar ways. I would love to have the opportunity to go to Iran and talk with people about our countries. Learning the language and meeting new people would be a wonderful experience, because we'd have more in common than many people think.

Iran is just a name. I do think the regime running the country is dangerous. It looks like they are building an atomic bomb, They deny the Holocaust happened. They want a holocaust in Israel. I worked there for seven years and have lots of friends I care about.

Currently the mullahs are in power but the majority of the people hate them. I think they will be pushed out of power by their own but it could take some time because the military sides with theocratic rule.
what I hate is that these rulers are pouring in a lot of money to the situation that faces Israel as well the insurgency and al queda in Iraq

I don't' hate Iran. I have had many Iranian Friends over the years. People are people. I do however have serious concerns as to the mental stability of their current leadership coupled with nuclear enrichment capabilities.

They are what happens when religions take over countries,
They are no different than everyone else in the region!
I don't hate Iran. Reagan didn't either as he was selling them weapons illegally.
I still don't understand how he got away with that!!

I pity people that live in any tyranny and even pity them more if they installed it themselves but I don't hate Iran. What I do hate is injustice in any form. The government of Iran unjustly restricts women's rights, freedoms of speech, religion, etc., all in the name of Allah.

As far as Iran on the nuclear program, I would want nukes if I were them. But their treatment of women and their overall government is not one I would like to have rule my way of life.
