Nothing... it's just points.

The points have no value, it's just a way of keeping tabs on your activity, and stuff like that. Do not attempt to sell your points.

I went to the German section of yahoo-answers and tried to sell my points cause I had over a thousand, and I received a stern reprimand in triplicate. One copy went to my email, one copy went to the yahoo squad reprimand file, and one copy went to the catch-all bin.
It was all very disconcerting.

Points are a way to keep track of how active you have been on Yahoo answers!!! The more active you are the more you have to brag about.

I'm not sure actually. I know you get one for signing on, two for answering a question, and ten if your answer is picked best. As to what they are for...nothing as of yet. Maybe yahoo will come up with something though, you never know :]
