Should Paeodophiles be jailed?

I Completely agree in the sense that it is both perverse and sickening, but jail will not stop their horrid desires! They are obviously mentally ill, so they should be hospitalised for treatment.

I think that the first thing that needs to be done is to re-define which acts we include under the banner of paedophilia. To describe someone of say, eighteen, having sex with a fifteen year old as deserving the same description as, say, someone who has abused a five year old: suggests that something is very wrong. I smell the hand of feminism at work. So, lets get that right for starters and stop throwing the P word around too freely.

I tend to agree with you, that they must have an emotional or psychological problem. There has to be a world of difference though,regarding sexual activity between those who are well into puberty and those who haven't yet reached it. I am trying to differentiate between behaviour that can be understood from a natural perspective, although not accepted by the law, and behaviour that is neither acceptable from a natural point of view, nor from a legal point of view. Although understandable, there is far too much heat and to little light been thrown at this issue.

Paeodophiles are the lowest of the low, and should be castrated with no pain relief by their victims families. Hospitalisation and prison are no good for them, they will always return to preying on little children, so take away the organ that allows them to do so and you are hurting them more. Oh and cut out their eyes too while they are at it. Job done!!!!!

Punishment and treatment are both things they deserve. However, I fear that we confuse punishment with revenge.

These people are sick and require treatment. But should treatment include being placed in a general population of violent offenders who will likely take out their own perverse form of justice (jail rape) on these offenders??

I submit that they should be jailed separately from others and given treatment. Any ricidivist should be shot afterwards....they were given the chance and the benefit of the doubt, yet they did it again regardless - they are worthless humans at that point.

Paedophilia as vile as it is, is not a mental illness it is actually a sexual preference so no matter of treatment will stop them from fancying minors. I think that should be jailed for life meaning life. I also think all animal testing should be abolished and we use paedophiles instead. Then when the jail is too full up of the paedophiles we make them die a slow and painful death.

They should be jailed whilst receiving psychological treatment they are far too much of a risk to be hospitalised. Chemically castrate them in jail too, paedophiles are sexual deviants so its not going to make them any more perverse than they were before will it?

Paedophilia is the only psycho-sexual disorder that cannot be cured. Paedophiles are clever, remorseless, and convinced that their sexuality is completely 'normal'. So, a life sentence in a secure unit, which means, they are there until they die. Otherwise, the only solution is putting a bullet through their head. I've met too many people who have been psychologically, and physically, damaged by paedophiles and thus, my 'compassion' for paedophiles is absolutely zero as a result.

I don't think pedophiles can be cured. I think if they have been convicted of those crimes, after jail time they should be exiled to a single sex isolated island community with only other pedophiles for company, and no way for anyone to get off, or bring anyone else on. They can live out the rest of their natural lives in the kind of heaven or hell they make for themselves and the rest of the country can live without worrying about them.

Jailled or hospitalised.... both of them cost us money, and to be honest, why the hell should money that we have given the goverment from payin taxes etc...then pay towards these sick ba$tards living in a place where they are safe from the people that should be allowed to torture them!

Hospitalised??? They should be tortured, everyday, permanently, for the rest of there lives. They all should have their nether regions, be it man or woman, slowly removed without pain killers, making sure its stitched up properly so they are still alive and able to comprehend, then they should have their eyes gouged out, so they can no longer have the privilege of sight, the very organs they used to pick out their tiny victims.

They should have their dicks cut off with a rusty knife and shoved up their own ***. then when they go to jail put them in with the hardened criminals where they can get a taste of their own medicine.
