IMHO Portugal's Alberto Ricardo Carvalho - supposedly kicked in the whatsits by Rooney and yet he was able to carry on playing football with no treatment - yeah sure. Pull the other one...

I will give it to the whole Italian team lead by Totti.
Second place is Portugal the Portugal vs Holland was a classic one.
On the other hand the funniest match I have watched has to be the Swiss Vs Ukraine one. Good refree-no cards- but the pitch was full of players who were falling down on their own!! They even sometimes missed kicking a ball and then they would fall flat!! ooooooooohhhhh no!!!

Florent Malouda, because he totally faked his fall during the final match. Materazzi didn't even touch him, as replays showed. France didn't deserve the penalty kick.

Diego Maradona was a pretty good actor in his prime. He would roll on the field and after the 8th or 9th tumble he would gather speed and finish with about 15 in total. Not only that but he has a tendancy to score goals with his hand and in essence cheat in order to win.

Remember the Brazilian. He was standing ready to take a corner kick, waiting for the ball to be kicked to him. An opponent kicked it, quite hard, it hit him in the ankle, he grabbed his head as though he'd been shot and fell down. The opponent was ejected, Brazil won the game....OSCAR VOTE

Hands down, Luis Figo - his playacting has led his team directly to the semifinals.
As a team, you'd have to have a 3-way draw with Argentina, Portugal, and of course Italy. (that's not to say Italy did not earn their spot in the Final as well - acting did not get them past Germany...just to Dortmund).

No way, this has to go to C Renaldo for his acting to the ref to get Roony the red and very possibly decide the game. He WINKED at his bench! The refs in this WC have been HORRIBLE and need to start carding the divers.
