I like to read, write, and draw, but I want a different hobby. Y'know, something new to do. Does anybody have any suggestions? (One last thing: Don't suggest anything that has to do with high up places- I am TERRIFIED of heights.)

There are so many hobbies out there that you can find a couple that fit you life, personality, time, and budget. It depends on what you like. If you like working with your hands I suggest knitting, crocheting, sculpting, taking a wood works class. If you are more artsy try painting, writing poetry, or writing a book. If you like outdoors I suggest horseback riding, kayaking, hiking or joining a sports team. You could do things like volunteer at a nursing home, a vet's office, or help at a summer camp. There are endless possibilities to what you can do.

Hope it helps.

Do genealogy. Be careful though, once you get started you may not be able to stop. It does take time and it should last for the rest of your life. This can also bring your other hobbies together. You can read, write and draw in genealogy too. You have to read records and other sources, you have to write and transcribe what you have read and sometimes you have draw small diagrams or maps to help keep inmind what you saw at cemeteries.

Good luck in finding a new hobby. I also collect Cincinnati Reds memorablia but I do not recomend that.

Why don't you try hiking or collecting something? The list is endless with regards to collecting: just pick something you like and start collecting. But be warned... If you collect to much junk you may have to move into a bigger house! Take care.
