ok i'm goin to sneak and wea4r atampon but i'm scared do it hurt when yu put it in there i just tried to put on in there but when i was pushing up it did'nt even go in how do i put it in does it hurt can anyone give me step by step instruction please

Read the booklet that comes with your tampons. Its your best bet.

since you are new to it I would recommend some lube. Get the plastic applicator tampon and use some stuff called KY jelly (not the warming kind) and spread some on the APPLICATOR ONLY. Then insirt it into the only hole it will fit, push the plastic stick till it cant be pushed any more and pull the applicator out. After you finsh throw the applicator way, and check the tampon in a few hours. Like 4, and then pull the string and out it will come.
Now dont freak if you cant find the string at first....believe me it is there, it is probably just stuck to you.

Little sister, first off, why are you going to "sneak" and wear a tampon? Is it because your mom does not want you wear them yet? Trust me, beilive it or not she's probably got a good reason for not allowing you to wear them just yet. Or is it a religious thing with her to where she beilives it will take away your virginity? (That's actually a myth, your hymen it further up the vaginal canal...too far for a tampon to reach so using a tampon will not take away your virginity).
Your best bet it to either get your mother to help you or carfully read all the instructions that come with EVERY BOX of tampons. If for some reason the tampons hurt when you insert them, then unfortunatly you're not doing it right. When tampons are used correctly you won't feel them at all.
Little sister, please be careful. Think about what you're doing and the reasons why. If you're not getting this right you need to get some help. If you keep doing it wrong you could end up hurting yourself by accident and I'd hate to see that happen to you.
Second of all, little one it's never a good idea to "sneak" around doing anything. It creates distrust with you and your parents. How will they want to allow you to do anything ( go to the movies or the mall with your friends ) if they can't trust you?

You do not mention how old you are. If you are sneaking, I'm assuming that your mother does not want you to use one. She has her reasons for this.
There is a booklet that comes with the box and usually instructions right on the box. If you do it correctly, it will not hurt. You must not have been putting it in the correct spot if it didn't go in.
I believe they make special tampons for very young girls also. The one you have, depending on who you got it from, could be too big for you to use.
You must make sure that the package was sealed so that you are using one that is not damaged or has germs on it. You also need to be careful to not leave them in too long.
That is why you need to talk to your mother, sister, aunt or school nurse before using one. You need to know how to use it and need to know what to watch for and how long to wear it or else you can end up very, very sick.
Please find someone you trust to talk to before trying it again.

ok, just relax. there r instructions on the box, but here's the play-by-play...unwrap the tampon, leaving it in the plastic or cardboard stuff. put ur thumb & middle finger on the ridges on the cardborad applicator. insert it into ur vagina @ an upward angle. once ur vagina touches ur fingers where u r holding the applicator, push on the tampon (@ the end of it) w/ ur index finger. it should go in smoothly. leave the string out & take the applicator out. hope this helped, but u need 2 talk 2 sum1. & don't leave it in 4 more than 3 hrs., or u could get TSS, a deadly disease. & ask ur mom 4 her reasons

I think u should reconsider using a tampon. Do u know u can get an infection called Toxic Shock Syndrome? It causes a rash 2 develop, vomiting, diarrhoea & a high fever and u then go into shock. I don't think u would want 2 expose urself 2 all that just yet.

You are sneaking behind your mother's back, I'm guessing, to do this. Explain to her that you prefer to try tampons rather than using pads, maybe she can help you.
It hurts because you are still a virgin and it's pushing on your hyman tissue.
Also, your vagina is angled towards your back. Don't try to push it straight upward.

Relax. First time is always weird. Read the box. They give you several ideas. Why do you have to sneak? Ask your mom. That is what they are for.

they hurt the first few times you use them. read all of the instructions that come in the box. dont use them before you are bleeding either. try this site. it has alot of info on tampons

Why would you be sneaking around to wear a tampon? My guess is that your Mom thinks you are too young to wear them. If so, listen to your Mom honey.
