A lot of people do the Kaplan course.

As for me -- I went in & took it without any preparation. that worked out well for me.

Depending on how much money you are willing to spend, you should really take a GMAT prep course. Kaplan and Princeton Review are the most popular. Other regional test prep classes are Manhattan GMAT and Veritas Prep. I have heard good things about Manhattan. A good resource if you live in Los Angeles is GMATGenius.com.
First thing: I would definitely go to your local bookstore and buy two books. One is Kaplan's homestudy coursebook. Another is Richard Montauk's "How to Get into Top MBA Programs". These are two excellent resources. I am an MBA grad living in LA. If you are in the Los Angeles area, I can meet up for coffee and give you more of a rundown on what you need to consider to get into the MBA school of your choice.
Thanks,
PL
