god NO. there are so many more books today. why read something that's soo OLD? seriously, check out:

Yes, at times. However I just read a new book called Misquoting Jesus. It was very interesting, with great facts about how the Bible has been changed, either to supprort a particular veiw, or just by accident since it's begining up until the creation of the movable type printing press

I'd like to but you know what? The Bible's so freakin hard to read. I mean, I get some of it but other parts, I have no idea what they are talking about. If the Bible could be translated into simple English, then I could read it.

Yes one chapter a day. Except when on holidays or weekends. It's amazing how much violence and sex there is in the Bible.

For those chuckleheads who don't read the Bible but claim to be religious would be amused to see what is there. The Song of Solomon for example is very erotic...

I used to until I got so fed up with trying to think that was all true. I would rather read a nice Fairy Tale if I'm going to be reading one the Bible is full of so much meanness and cruelty.

The real question is : Do YOU read the bible.. Yes I do should be the answer. It has some interesting stories and it is really cool once you read it..

Nah, I don't want my life dictated by a book.I mean, I guess it would not hurt to read it, but really it's jusst a history book.And yes, you can learn stuff from history, but you won't see me hauling my history textbook around and start preaching from it.My bible is the Harry Potter books! Take THAT!!

I do, you know. But I was suprised the Muslim was so adamant about not reading it. The Old Testament is all about the same people the Koran reverences--Abraham, Isaac, Joseph--and the God these men worshipped. So why would you stay away from a book that could teach you so much about these people and their God, whom Islam says is also their God.

yes my bible has the chapters in the back where u can check off each chapter that u get done reading. its really neat. i havent read it all yet but im getting close!

no but i believe in god i think that everyone has there own way of talking or felling god i dont feel like i need to read the bible but i dont thnk people are silly for erading theres...... if that makes sense
