One of my favorites is Love Me If You Dare, too! GREAT film! I was so excited to see someone else mention it, because it is not very well known.

My top 5:

A Very Long Engagement (France)
The Princess and the Warrior (Germany)
Love Me If You Dare (France)
Life Is Beautiful (Italy)
Cinema Paradiso (Italy)

It's really hard for me to pick just five because there are so many fantastic foreign films out there. But those are the best ones I can think of right off the top of my head.

I think if you liked Love Me If You Dare you'd definitely also like Princess and the Warrior, and probably A Very Long Engagement.

City of Lost Children (FR)
Central Station (Brazil)
Girl on the Bridge (FR)
Ma Vie En Rose (Belgium)
Princess and the Warrior (Germany)

but it is difficult becuase there are so many original and creative and deeply moving Foriegn Films to even begin and I am sure if I did not run the first 5 that came to mind I would be struggling to create this list. But I love these films.
