logic can be learned on some level or another by any person and by most mammals. Simple things like "when I touch a hot stove it hurts, therefore I should give the stove a wide berth" are completely intuitive, and are how our brain makes connections.

"Logic" in the sense of using If P U R -> P =/= R and other formal symbols can be tricky for even intelligent people to learn, so in that sense, classroom instruction of logic might not be for everybody.

I'd say it depends on how unintelligent the person is. Are we talking of retarded folks or simply those with below average intelligence? In the case of the latter, I think it would be quite possible despite being difficult.

It depends on what you mean by "unintelligent people." What type of mental incapacity or how low of an IQ?

What type of logic and reasoning is involved?

yes because you can teach people. and when you teach them logic, you are creating critical thinking which will make them intelligent. so have faith because people are not like dogs they can learn a new trick even after years of no education.

yes! i am a classic example of that.i never learned math in my childhood days,thinking i can never learn anything.i was fine in other subjects.now i am 35 years old and have daughter,did GED without anybody's help.i think algebra requires logic.i was thought by others that i have math disability.but i guess when you want something very bad, you can do anything.correct me if i am wrong! that what i think.
