I remember the story and the movie. Did you know, the Yosemite killer is Stevens older brother? Also in case you didn't know, Steven was killed in a motorcycle accident.

I do, I actually just saw it for the first time on Lifetime about a year ago. I did not know that it was based on a true story. I couldn't believe that "Steven" actually stayed as long as he did knowing that the guy was not his real dad. I guess that is the power of being brainwashed. I was extremely happy when he helped to return the younger boy back to his parents.

I remember the movie and Steven's brother Carrie is sitting on death row I believe fro killing the mom,daughter and friend and a tour guide in Yosemite national Park.

I remember it well. Steven escaped after he saw what was happening to Timmy. I thought it especially sad to see the effect on the family after Steven finally came home.
