Many make up manufacturers make a foundation that has a very slight green tint to it, and this is recommended if you have a high colour. The green is very subtle and neutralises the red. To find the best one for you, do some research - go to any large department store and ask advice on the cosmetics counter. Boots are usually very helpful, and reasonably priced, if there is a store handy.
I'd also advise that you protect your skin with a good moisturiser.
Hope this helps.

104, There are some great new tinted moisturizers that actually work. The new tinted Olay or tinted Ponds are both good. They give a nice golden glow. The ruddyness that you describe may be more noticeable because your skin gets whiter in fall/winter and it may look splotchy. A nice sheer neutral foundation may also help. FPB99

Try using a natural home-based remedy to rid of the redness, I would suggest you try putting a mixture of crushed cucumber slices and fresh lemons and put the mix on your face for approximately 10-25 minutes. The juices work together to naturally lighten the skin. You might think this is gross but, urine or pee is supposed to lighten the skin also.

Well be sure to cleanse your face boh day and night. I like pure makeup brand because it is a water base not oil. Just try to get the right shade. Good Luck!!!!

Does it get really red from dry skin? If so, Aveeno calming moisturizer works for me.
