All "Classic" zippo's refill the same.
First you will need classic Naptha Fluid. This is standard lighter fluid, not butane.
Open the lighter and grasp the top of the wind protector. Pull gently until the entire insides of the lighter comes out.
Turn this piece over and you will see that it is packed with cotton like material. Holding the piece inverted begin filling it with the fluid. When the fluid wil not soak in anymore, the unit is full.
Replace the insert and wipe off the case and windpoof protector. Light the lighter and allow it to burn for a min or so to burn off excess fluid.

pull the lighter outta the metal shell, turn the lighter over, pull up on one side of the cotton buffer, poor the zippo fluid in, push the cotton buffer back in, re-install back into the metal shell. FIRE IT UP! (if the wick is dry, u may have 2 put a little fluid on it 2)

Pull the inner lighter out of the case and fill the foamish materiel with lighter fluid. Put it back in and let it sit open to air dry for a minute before trying to light it.

If you can't figure out how to fill a zippo you probably shouldn't have one, or sharp objects for that matter.
