Its when the sack that holds the baby and amniotic fluid ruptures.

The baby is in a sac of amniotic fluid the entire pregnancy. When that bag ruptures and the fluid comes out, it usually means that labor is about to begin and the baby will be born soon....however, if it happens too early or labor doesn't start fast enough after rupture then it could be a problem.

It means that her water broke and she's about to go into labor. What she means by water breaking is that all of the amniotic fluid that was surrounding her baby came out and it's time to have the baby. The baby cannot live inside the uterus without amniotic fluid. Hope this helps.

When a woman is pregnant the fetus in her womb is in a "bag". When the baby is coming the bag bursts for the baby 2 come out.

Her water breaks....which means she is going to have the baby....the "water" is a fluid that acts as a lubricant....so when you push the baby it's not skin rubbing against skin, that would be painful
