Buy new memory from your local computer store. They can also install it for you (for a fee). Just have your computer model and serial number with you when you go to purchase. You can also install it yourself, the instruction come with the memory sticks.

The ahrdest part is figuring out what kind you have. Installing is easy, just push back the clips to remove the old and push in the new and clip it. Nothing else to do.
So to find out what kind you have either ask your PC manufactuer or take it out and go to a good store that sells RAM, ask them what kind you need. But you will need to be sure your system supports that much, older ones are limited. I think, not certain, it is on your computer configuaration under control panel. Also check the literature that came with your PC.
Though really, I never heard of broadband needing RAM, but then I have sat., just got and love it!
Good luck, it's not as hard as your imagining, nor as costly. Try www.memoryx.com or www.tigerdirect.com once you know the type you have. They sell cheap RAM, and often have sales. Usually, all RAM need to be in the same amount, so depends on what you have, or if you have a vacant slot you might need to replace what you currently have if no slot is open, or just match it.

Ebay! Make sure you know exactly what kind of memory will fit in your computer, how many free slots you have, what memory you've already got, and whether or not you can still keep some of it with the new RAM. The manufacturer of the motherboard will know. Opening the box up will help. What you're looking for are DIMMs (dual inline memory modules). Get the maximum memory that your motherboard can take.
But ebiltifferz has a point - if you're a computer newbie, get help from a human.

you buy ram sticks for your comp. Since you didn't know this, I suggest you take your computer tower to a place like Best Buy or Frys or whatever the electronics/computer store in your area is, and tell them you need RAM for the computer. They can show you which ones and for a small(hopefully) fee they can install it for you as well. Prices for the RAM normally run from 25$ - over 100$ depending on the size, type, and quality. The store can help you find whats best for your needs though.

same, in the experience, your new RAM should be properly ideal along with your equipment and the former RAM specs. In all circumstances, equipment has its reduce for slot length. as an celebration for some pcs each and every slot can in ordinary words take care of a million GB, and the motherboard can in ordinary words take care of two GB finished. so so you might have checked the specs beforehand determining to purchase. Corsair have a web page on their web site that tells what RAM is properly ideal with what motherboard/pc. seek for advice from the web page and your motherboard's guide. it really is like you want pair of footwear and both has different sizes. So it would not fit your needs awesome.

I supposed your need higher memory ram card. Check out with the electrical shops and check with them how much will it cost. Forget about replacing your exsisting ram if the price is higher than US$50 for 128ram. 512ram only cost about US$80 in Singapore
Good luck!
