There are no TRUE symptoms of pregnancy but there are some for sure signs. There are possible indicators that you might be pregnant. The biggest one being the absence of a period. It may be hard to tell if your cycle is irregular. You may have nausea, interesting adominal sensations, flatulence, backache, headache, needing to urinate frequently. Many of these could be signs of a number of other things such as having intestinal issues, kidney problems, or ovarian cysts. Some cysts can actually even give you a false positive HPT.

You could have a chemical pregnancy or an early misscarriage and get some of the signs and symptoms like those described above. A tubal pregnancy will usually produce sharp abdominal pain in which case, you need to go to the ER right away - with a tubal pregnancy you could die of shock or lose your fertility.

Signs that are true signs of pregnancy are when a doctor finds a fetal heartbeat- usually at about 10-12 weeks or when an ultrasound is done and a fetus/embryo is found. If an unltrasound is done - they can usually find a fetal heartbeat as early as 4-5 weeks. Oh, yes and the achy sore breasts are another possible sign, but could be associated with the onset of menses.

See a doctor and get checked out - their urine test will give you a much more sure result that the over the counter kind. A doctor can also do an exam and tell if you are pregnancy by how your uterus feels and what you're cervix is doing.

Missed or light period, Irritability, increase or decrease in appetite (depends on whether or not you have morning sickness), nausea and/or vomitting any time of day, hightened sense of smell, change in taste of food and scents, severely increased sleepiness, dizziness, flushed skin, breast tenderness, etc..

alot of syptoms are similar to period symptoms and every woman is different. The best thing to do is wait and if you do not start, go to the doctor or take an at home test.

you can have many signs when you are preg. breast tenderness, cramping, major fatigue, nipple area gets dark, hard stomache, no period, or sometimes you can get your period but it usually is just spotting nauesa, food cravings, and frequent peeing. these are some of the signs but some people only get one or two signs and it is hard to tell if you are preg. so to be safe take a preg test to verify and then you can stop the worrying. best of luck.
