Do you mean Mozilla?

Mozilla is discontinued. It's still available for download, but it's no longer being worked on besides the occasional bug fix.

Firefox, which Mozilla is VERY similar to is available for download at http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ - it's a fantastic browser and FAR MORE SECURE than IE is because it does NOT support ActiveX - websites that use ActiveX will not completely work. On the good side, websites that use ActiveX to install spyware and adware won't work either.

I use firefox all the time and I RARELY go back to Internet Explorer. Based on my experience, I would say 98% (or more) of all web sites work JUST FINE in FireFox. Firefox has some cool features like a built in search window that is only for search - and you can pick which search you want to use - Google, Yahoo, IMDB, Wikipedia, and others. It's also fast and generally quite stable. I HIGHLY recommend you make the switch. Internet Explorer stays on your computer, but you should RARELY need it.

Mozilla Firefox? Definitely SO much better. I switched a few months ago because I was sick and tired of Internet Explorer crashing all the time and I will never go back! Mozilla is great! It never crashes or locks up... the tabbed browsing is so much easier... and, as far as I'm concerned, it accesses the internet faster. By the way, it is free. All you need to do is go to the site below and download the software. Once you download it, install it. I would keep Internet Explorer as a back-up because very occassionally you may come across a site that will not work with Firefox. No matter what - it is well worth it!

Mozilla is free. When you download it, there will be a new icon with a little fox circling the world on your desktop. You simply click on that to get online. I would go to you computer's internet settings and select that as your default browser. But I would keep IE because some games don't work in Mozilla. But IE is more dangerous to use and viruses sneak onto your computer easier, so Mozilla is the way to be.

If you are referring to Mozilla Firefox, then the advantage is that security holes found in Internet Explorer are not found in Firefox. One disadvantage is that it doesn't support ActiveX. If you have a site that requires that, then you can't use it. ActiveX is usually where most browser hijack programs get in, so it's a blessing as well. Also, many sites are using other methods such as Java to not require ActiveX support.

Microsoft has internet explorer

mozilla has firefox you can use both on your computer ..

I have both on some of my computers
for webdesign..

Firefox is free I don't think it is technically better ..It does make microsoft work harder to improve their stuff..Firefox is slower than Internet explorer but is a good browser..
here is the link

mozilla foundation manages firefox which can be gotten from www.mozilla.org or www.firefox.com you can download a selfextracting executable that will take of the rest and even make the browser the default if you so want.
the advatages to ths are many including a lot of custom extensions and tabbed browsing
