Unfortunately, right now, I am going to have to say "YES". Not only did they launch the long range missle, but also several mid-range missles that landed in the Sea of Japan. I have a feeling that before too long, North Korea is going to make a move and put us into WWIII, which, as Einstein predicted, would devastate the world.....

My son and I have been discussing this for the past couple of days and we both believe that WWIII is just waiting to happen and of course, N Korea would be the instigator. Which brings us to WHY? I think that N. Korea may be in cahoots with Iraq & seeing as there are WAY too many soldiers in that country, now would be the perfect time for someone to attack America again, because there aren't enough troops here at home.

While America is the world policeman, we do have to be wary of our enemies who threaten our borders. N. Korea is an imminent threat that should not be taken lightly. Not to mention our deteriorating relations with Iran and the escalating threats of Terrorists from around the world.

Eternal vigilance and training will always be the best way to prevent and prepare for the inevitable.

The truth is we are not vulnerable to a landed force or even a secret terrorist force in our midst but we are vulnerable to a mechanical attack where machines do the killing. There is only so much soldiers and men and a tight knit society can do. As long as the aggressors remain non-educated in science we can have the edge for safety.

North Korea won't attack America directly. If they take any military
action it will be to take full control of the Korean peninsula.
If anyone attacks the U.S. in the near future it will be terrorists,
not another nation-state.

First, newspapers are looking to sell newspapers and distort horribly. Secondly, China has more to lose than the US with its proximity. If Bush is at all wise, he will allow China to defuse the problem. But he is not known for prudent judgement and that would result in a war.

Look at my recent question. We unfortunantly do not have troops to go to war with Korea-however we should be on gaurd-and call all allies. And It looks like Allies have been taking our side and staying on gaurd of this issue.
