I know some of you will get ohhhh that is so not true, but seriously. It is so pathetic. I'm not saying that they aren't good people or anything like that, but if it was someone who was fat ugly and a complete jurk would you watch them. It is just like the kids that were in school, except they get payed for it. Who else feels this way, or am I just the only person willing to think outside of the box? If you don't agree with what I said make your comments and get it out of your system.

I agree. It is ridiculous how celebrities get married to fellow celebrities, then divorce to get their name on the front page of People magazine. And then it turns into a contest of who can wear the most expensive (and smallest) micro-micro mini skirt. Some celebrities are actually good people and are great actors, singers, etc. They deserve to be on the cover of people. But as for others, they are just famous for soley being a "fashion statement". Whatever. I totally agree with your statement, though!

I'm with you. They are all marketing themselves. For example, Tom Cruise--what the heck was all that shenanigans on Oprah's couch but to get people to talk about him and watch his movie so he will win another award or two and therefore get paid more.
I could never be a celebrity because I just don't care to enter into a pointless popularity contest. It's like high school all over again!
