I think that the Metal Gear series is the best ever. It revolutionized gaming when Metal Gear solid came out on the Playstation. It blew my mind, nothing like that game had ever benn seen. No game offered this amount of detail and a real sense of the whole weight of the world on your shoulders. Every stealth game copies Metal Gear, and some action. How can you not love a game that created a genre and still does it best.

Elder Scrolls Series, by far, even though Oblivion was WAYYYY too newb-friendly, compared to Morrowind.

Zelda and Mario. They are classics and build up the other games in atleast every aspect. Ever since their first release they sell millions not because they are childish but because their target audience isn't just kids its also for adults and teens.
