I have to enter a little bit of XML code into a forum because I'm making a tutorial about making buttons on Google Toolbar. In order to tell people what XML code to program the button with, I need to type it. When I enter the tutorial to the forum, it take the code as part of the programming of the web page. How do I disable the code and enter it as text-only?

if it is just putting the code you enter in raw, you will need to use "& gt ;" and "& lt ;" instead of > and < respectively.

(remove the spaces, yahoo seems to have a similar issue with html entities)

code
???
may have to be sure to give a

at the end or you may kill the whole board which would be funny.

A lot of forum programs have a [code] [/code]tag though.
