people always say basketball is the better sport. i think football is the better sport. i writing an essay and i need feedback!

I believe football is better, its more interesting..more positions and stats..the games are longer..also for basketball if u lose ur 1st like 20 game it wont even matter at the end of the season..but if u lose ur 1st 5 or 6 games in football then ur season is basically DONE..so there for i believe football is a better sport...also more ppl watch football than basketball..i like basketball but i strongly believe that football is the better sport...

To me, football is better. I just like watching it more than basketball and I am a 41 year old mother of a 10 ten year old. I am an avid Dallas Cowboy fan and can't wait for football season to start.

Well to me, it is both. It is up to the person to see what is the better sport. To me, football is fun to play and especially watch. It is so fun to see the great plays they do in football. Like amazing catches, amazing passes, and other great things about football. Now basketball is also fun to play and especially fun to watch. Like the amazing dunks, the amazing and crazy ahots the players make, and other great things about basketball. I think that it is up to the person if he or she likes football better or basketball. Everyone is different so might say that both suck and that baseball better or soccer. Everyone is different and have different opinion about everything. So it is kind of a waste of time to agrue with one is better. Also, good luck with that essay I hope you get the grade you want and the imformaton you need to write about it.

I like football--"American Football"--better. In football you get to see game plans and strategies for plays at work but basketball is usually too chaotic.

How can it be basketball when the so called best players in the world shoot around 60% from the free throw line. What ever happened to passing? How have the US teams done against international competation? Not well.....
The talent level in the NBA has droped, why are international players doing so well in the NBA? fundamentals.

Football. It's annoying in basketball how they stop play every 2 minutes and call a girly foul when a player barely grazes another.

football by far draws more money and more fans. and football has far more action in it. whats the most you see in basketball. "oh wow did you see him twist his ankle" or in football "now let's go to the replay. ok right there is where he got knocked unconscious"
how great is that. whats the biggest game of the year the superbowl. have you ever heard someone having a nba playoffs party. but you've heard of a superbowl party. in basketball if its not ncaa it means nothing
