when i told my family i wanted to apply they said bad things about it. they never worked any postal jobs so what do they know? what are the pros and cons of this job????

I've never worked a postal job, but I've dealt with relatives like that. If it's your parents, ask them if they'd like it better if you lived with them! (Or stayed with them.) That would shut them up! :-) As for others, remember it's your life and you can get a different job if this one isn't what you need or want. Tell them what you told us--good pay, good benefits.

i know aunts and uncles that work for the post office.. and have raised their kids well.. put them through private school.. the whole nine.. so i wouldn't knock it

i think your parents just want you to have options in life.. that's why they are looking down on it.. but do what you want to do
