shish kabobs come to mind!
buy an inflattable plastic pool and fill it with sand. Then make a palm tree or buy an inflattable one from Oriental Trading. Put gold coins on the beach.
Make treasure chests out of coolers. Have soft drinks etc. in there or don't put anything in them just have them sitting around for decoration
go to a costume shop and buy eye patches bandanas mardi gras beads
Go to the dollar store and buy cheap plastic wine glasses or the big glasses for margaritas..........spray paint the outside of them gold...and glue on some stones
buy some chocolate gold wrapped candy
Have rolled up treasure maps.......go for a treasure hunt! compasses maps, etc. can be laying around to give it more effect
