I've just always wondered if anything supernatural or mythical have ever had scientific proof behind it. Not aliens, because I know all about them. But I'm saying like Sasquatch, Santa Claus, Chupacabra, anything mythlike on the earth.

I'm mostly fascinated by ghosts. I think that there have been so many credible, multiple-witness accounts that we can't disregard the phenomena. It's interesting to note that there have never been any credible photographs, videos, or sound recordings of ghosts. I think that there is something very real at work, but it's not what we think it is.

I've been a paranormal researcher for nearly 10 years (www.paranormal-society.com). The problem with evidence is that someone can always argue it.

There's TONS of evidence out there. Recordings of voices, video of apparitions, photos, the evidence is piled sky-high. Even in the 1800's they were doing table-tippings and seances and getting some pretty significant stuff. There's photos of aliens, bigfoot, chupacabra, all of them. The scientific community however wants to disbelieve it.

TONS of stuff .. you just have to look for it in history. There was a time when such things as thunder and lightning were viewed as supernatural events. More recently you can find things such as the African myths of "The Wise Man of the Mountain" that was considered to be just fairy tales until the European explorers found them ... we now call them "gorillas".

sam21462 has a good answer. One thing to add: Anytime anything that is "supernatural" is explained by science, it no longer qualifies as supernatural.
