The best time to visit Disney World and avoid the crowds and high prices would be anywhere between September and mid November. Children are back in school and it is right in between holidays, so the parks and hotels are really empty. The crowds do pick back up again around Thanksgiving and Christmas time, so plan for a trip somewhere in between. My suggestion is October. The weather is still warm, but not miserable, and the crowds are non-existent.

To avoid the peak season you would want to avoid February 16 - April 22 (may be a little different for next year) and then the holiday season which is December 20-31.

Any dates outside of these would either be regular or value season.

Best time to go is around September! No one is there! Worst time is deffinitly April. However I went during April vacation this year and it was deffinitly not as bad as I thought it would be! Lines for top rides (like the new everst ride) was only a 40-50 minute wait!

I would say THE SUMMER. I'm from Connecticut and I moved down to central Florida....and no one from up north wants to visit in the summer because it's too hot, but everyone wants to come down in the winter cause its 10 degrees up there and 60 down here. So I would say the summer, and I would maybe even include September and October because they also tend to be hurricane months.

probably in January after the holidays and in hurricane season like September and October.
I usually go during the spring, usually late march/early april and the crowds aren't too bad.
But, one time I went in October and it seemed really empty because I'm used to the spring crowd.
have fun if you go!

we've been there several times in August and Sept...and tho it is HOT AS you know what and September is the start of hurricane season, there are very small crowds at Disney...and every place is air conditioned or has a pool ...and its much cheaper !!!

September to mid-November and January to mid-February are pretty good times to go with minimal crowds.
