we want to move to a small town near the ocean in a house we would be renting. we dont want to pay over 850. per month and two bed rooms would sefice. also nice schools!

Good Luck With That!... Your best bet is to try and meet an owner and see if you can work something out with them... Other than that you'll be paying no less than $1000/wk. I would sugguest that maybe you and your family find a nice city and take a ride in the car and start looking. That way at least there's a chance you may run into an owner that would be willing to help you guys out.
Or... You may be able to purchase a home on the waterfront and pay a smaller mortgage depending on your credit situation.

if you want a house for $850/month, you need to go to oklahoma or something.
do you know how much it costs to live in an APARTMENT in california??
my house is in sacramento and you can't get one of those on rent for less than 1400/month.
