He has been a failure at everything that he has tried, ran a couple of business's into the ground, didn't finish his commitment to the guard. Why would you expect any different then to be a failure at being a president. His failed administration is a good example of what he did in college.

Yes, though he was mainly a C student (though he did get two degrees from Harvard and Yale, so the man must be smart). His SAT scores were 1206, though, higher than John Kerry's. I know I'm in the minority here, but I actually preferred Bush's way of speaking than Kerry's when they were running in '04. With Kerry, it was so obvious that he spent hours practicing glib, intelligent responses that answered absolutely nothing, Dubya seemed more real, more down-to-earth, and honest. I believe he is an intelligent man-just because you can't debate doesn't automatically make you stupid, you know.

First, there is no correlation between being intelligent and being a good speaker. As for 'debates' those are more TV shows than anything else, and are pretty useless, IMO. If you need to see how they speak to determine who to vote for, you probably shouldn't be allowed to vote. But he has shown quite a bit of intelligence.
For one, he knows what the meaning of 'is' is, and he knows that fellatio is indeed sex, unlike his 'genius' predecessor.
And he got better grades and higher entrance test scores than his 'intellectual' opponent in 2004.
Now, I blew away his and Kerry's SAT scores by miles (99th percentile), so both are 'dumber' than me, but that does not mean they are not intelligent.
And you should also be aware that intelligence does not necessarily mean leadership. Look at 'genius' Jimmy Carter, who was arguably the most incompetent nincompoop president ever.
And you also have to look at the fact that Bush has enough self-confidence to surround himself with very intelligent and accomplished people, again, unlike his predecessor. He's displayed quite a lot of leadership, especially in the War on Terror, unlike his poll-following predecessor.
And I bet he can spell 'intelligence'.

My GPA is 3.9, but I would not dare think I could lead a country, do you?
Nonetheless, the fact that President Bush has led our country for almost two consecutive terms and we have not had another 9/11 speaks volumes regarding his leadership. Common sense over rules "grades from college" every time...
My answer is in total agreement with senior citizen's reply.

President G.W. Bush is a decent, honest man, far more than can be said for many of his opponents, past and present. Since he is in his last term of his presidency, what is your point in berating him? Why not start berating our next president, John McCain, also a decent, honest man? My college experience (and I hold an MBA) is that the best grades go to two classes of people, a few of the best students and many ot the worst cheats.

SO what if he is an average student and failure at business he is a politician and the only education needed is lust for power and greed.
