I don't think you can get too much energy while you are pregnant. The person growing inside of you is taking alot from you in order to develop. Get lots of rest and when you are feeling awake and want to do something, walking or bike riding (if it was your normal activity prior to pregnancy) are good ways to help you with what little energy you can develop.

When you get a real big burst of energy at the end of the pregnancy, like you are ready to paint all the rooms of the house and hang wallpaper type energy, you will probably be in labor within fortyeight hours. ( Its some wierd phenomenon that happens to women).

Try things like peanut butter crackers, nuts, and granola bars. They don't contain as much sugar as say a candy bar nor the caffeine of a soda or cup of coffee. These are healthy snacks that can give you a little boost. Also take a relaxing bath, good relaxing baths often relieve tension and give you a little boost. Naps as often as you can will also give you a little get up and go. Avoid foods that give you instant energy like energy bars, drinks, sodas, chocolates, and caffeine as these things will only make you more tired when you come down from the sugar/caffeine high. Good luck!

Drink alot of water, do excercises (not strenuous mind you) like taking a 20 minute walk, or yoga and pilates. Don't overeat, stick to high fiber and whole grains, fruits and veggies, avoid caffeine and high salt/fatty foods (i know its' hard! But they drag you down), also know when to put your feet up for a few minutes, a ten minute down time (even a cat nap) is beneficial. Most important is to eat healthy though! I can't stress this enough! I loved while I was preg. and it was still sweet, was rBran raisin muffins with oats on top, when I craved pizza I did veggie pizza with wheat crust (digiorno or freschettas frozen are super) I avoided meat aside from a little fish, and ate protein packed soy products. Water Water Water!
