Not necessarilly, there can be peace during war as there could be war during peace. Therefore to state plainly that in the absence of peace there is war may be taken out of context in many ways.

No, its the opposite of war. You can have times without war or peace, and you can have times with both war and peace, al depends on your perspective. Two countries for example, that are not at war, but still hate eachother are not at peace either.

NO.Peace means the accepting of all other people in the world ,accepting of all other civilizations and religiouses.Stop Aggression of all kinds.Finally Peace means having peace of mind,not feeling guilty.....Sleeping like a child.

i think that conflict is the absence of peace. case in point, without human beings, there may be no conflict, purely peace. yet there is human beings, for this reason, conflict happens, yet on no account cases. Peace has constantly been, and conflict happens.
