Supply side economics is what every repuglican strives for, Reagan had his trickle down theory, but it took a democrat (Bill Clinton) to show what consumer driven economics would do for the country, biggest expansion ever, first balanced budget, it sure didn't take Bush long to end all of that prosperity and the only ones getting rich are the already rich and the company's that feed the war machine.

Ah, nothing so ugly as class envy and class hatred. It's marxist ideology at its ugliest.

The fact is that the top 1% pay significantly more taxes than the bottom 50%, in total. People who pay more taxes get more money back when taxes are cut - this is simple math, and should even be simple enough a concept for liberals to figure out. Guess I was wrong.

the rich are the ones that provide the jobs to the poor. WHen was the last time you were offered a job by a poor person? As far as the poor, well many of them have so many children that they pay no taxes anyway and they get more than their fare share of goverment handouts. Let the rich have some of their money back because they earned it

The tax cuts are graduated at the rate one pays. Your information is flawed as more than 1% get these breaks.
Your assumption that all neocons ONLY care about the rich, is flawed in that Bush's "regime" also leads the world in aid to poor African countries.

I suggest you do more research before labeling people. I'm not a neocon, I'm independant. I am in a lower tax bracket and the tax break helped me to buy my first home. The top 1 percent of the country lost alot of tax benifits although they did get the tax break for personal taxes they lost on business and estate taxes. So overall they pay more than they did.

Well according to the statistics. The republicans are typically made up of working class people with no college degree. So you appear to have your logic out of whack.
Working class people want to see tax cuts, they get tired of supporting generations of people expecting entitlements. Do your homework. Look to see who is really trying to create a class of slaves in this nation. It certainly isn't the Neocons as you put it.

85% of all taxes paid in this country are paid buy the rich ( research it) By cutting taxes or giving tax breaks the rich employ more people and invest more into their communities.Notice how our economy has improved lately?Taxing the rich more would cause business's to lay off more employees or to close. Rich people stay rich by not spending their own money,so they get a tax break and you get to keep your job. See how it works!

... bush tax cuts benefit the top 1 percent of this country.

So... do you really hate the "super rich" that much?? The super rich pay... say 30% of the taxes, -so when the Federal govn't realizes it 'stole' too much of our money, and gives a tax break, how much of that tax break should go back to the 'super rich'?? 30 %??

Stop hating people based who you think they are!!

It's really an interesting question as they get used and screwed by the rich almost as often as the poor! Their wiring is messed up!!
