yeah yeah, don't believe everything you read mate! The point is that he shouldn't have ran 40 meters to tell the ref that! He's a little snitch and an idiot, not only did he take out Rooney but also scored the goal that sent us home??? He will be shot by the mafia!

obvioulsly you don't know anything about football, a few world cups ago i think it was Italy, some mafia guy had a bet on a certain player and he missed the goal and they lost the game and he ended up dead, and Rooney pushed Ronaldo who plays on Man U, who Rooney plays for!! He sold out his own player!Know your game before you comment!

I would have given him a yellow card rather than a red card, which I would have given to Cristiano Ronaldo, especially after winking, about Beckham, dunno

About Rooney, I think he deserved the red card. First, he did that huge foul against the portuguese player, and then he even attacked Ronaldo while the referee was standing less than 1 meter away. In a professional and World Competition, such lack of fair play is stupid, and Rooney is to blame on it.
As for Beckham, I am not really sure on what type of question you were trying to ask, but if you're talking about his recent actions yeah, I would have to state that he seems a jerk. Ok, in the match against Portugal he got hurt, but that wasn't his fault. The bad result of the team MAY have been.

Yes Rooney deserved that red card...His foul was deliberate and then he started shoving other team members in the melee. I think this is why the referee changed from a yellow to a red.
Beckham is a great player...end of story.
And your comments about the mafia shooting C. Ronaldo is despicable. It's just a game girlfriend!!!

hey england fans who complain a lot....read this
"Referee Horacio Elizondo insists Portugal winger Cristiano Ronaldo did not influence his decision to send off England striker Wayne Rooney in Saturday's World Cup quarter-final.
Manchester United forward Rooney appeared to stamp on Ricardo Carvalho after an hour of the match, which England went on to lose after a penalty shoot-out.
Ronaldo infuriated his United club colleague by calling for referee Elizondo to punish Rooney and the Liverpudlian pushed his Red Devils team-mate in anger.
But Argentinian Elizondo has confirmed the fiery Rooney was dismissed for the original foul.
He told The Times: 'It was violent play and therefore he got a red card.
'People can say what they want (about Ronaldo) but this had absolutely no influence.
'In general I don't pay much attention to that sort of thing because I don't care about the pressure on my shoulders during a match.
'For me it was a clear red card, so I didn't react to the Portuguese players. There was pushing and shoving on both sides but for me it wasn't a reason to caution anybody.'"
now stop complaining already...you guys can't take PK's...thats what it boils down to

Please englishbabe93 Trinidad and Tobago played with 10 men against Sweden and they played better foot-ball than England with 10 men not to mention T & T held England 80+ mins before they scored. So Yes Rooney should have gotten a red card.
